Kilimanjaro road trip travel schedule
Get early breakfast and at 07.00 am depart from the Hotel in Moshi or Arusha to Sanya Juu via the small town of Bomang’ombe . Our Driver will take bottled drink water, and lunch boxes. We will lead you on a road trip driving up to Wilayani, where you will get the best Kilimanjaro view point, and take photos. From there, we will move forward for 5 km to Ngarenairobi village. We will show you the start point of Lemosho route, and Northern circuit route, so we will leave our bypass and go to Lemosho gate and take photos. Then after photos, we take back to our Kili road trip path and proceed up to Olmolog Maasai Village.
Furthermore, we will visit Ngushae maasai village, and more villages like Mruto. We will go on exploring Kilimanjaro western side views and reach northern side Kilimanjaro Rongai. Also from northern Kilimanjaro trail Rongai, Camel safaris can start from here. Explore Rongai villages which have a mix of communities. Rongai is located very close to the Kenya Side, and it is closer to the South Kitandani-Amboseli wildlife corridor. At this point in Rongai, there are chances to see large mammals such as Elephants, Giraffes, elands, Impalas, Buffaloes, and many bird species. We will make a visit to Nalemoru gate, a trail to begin climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro via Rongai route. At Nalemoru gate, we take photos and drive down to Tarakea border town, via several chagga community villages. Ultimately, you have supported Tanzania ecotourism, through this cultural tours.
There is no limitation of sightseeing, any place where we discover scenery you take photos, and enjoy. Then we drive onwards up to Mwika local market, where you see Banana, and avocado trade by Rombo women. If we have had more time, we can divert to rombo Cultural tourism. Learn how chagga communities do their banana and coffee farms. And also engage in coffee preparations, and taste a cup of coffee. Will be given a bag of processed coffee for bringing back home.
Now, let’s proceed to Moshi, as we drive toward Moshi, we reach a junction to the road which leads to Holili Border. And then Taveta and ultimately reach Mombasa Kenya. We mind our business, the aim is to go back to Our hotel in Moshi.
